Successful families mean successful communities and societies. Members of such groups tend to be more resourceful and well prepared for any changes or events that occur during their lifetime. In addition, children from these families are more successful as a result of being brought up in a ‘user-friendly’ environment. The World Federation’s Family Affairs works to build capacity within the community, aimed at creating successful families. This could be in the form of counselling, social activities and workshops. Some of the objectives are:
• Premarriage and post marriage strategy support for learning / training
• Marriage Framework – facilitate its implementation across the community
• Effective parenting strategy
• Needs assessment framework for the elderly across the globe
• Access to chaplaincy training development (men and women)
• Enhancement of Khoja Match matchmaking website
• Train marriage Educators
