The Qum Students’ community gathered together in a show of unity at Dar al-Zahra (sa) on the night of 17th Rabi’ul Awwal, as they together celebrated the birth of the greatest Man in history, the Beloved of the Almighty and the Perfection of Creation, Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the 6th star of Imamat & Wilayat, Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (as).
The programme from its beginning was a display of love for the Ahl-ul-Bayt (as) as the audience joined with the Tanzanian students’ Tawasheeh group who rendered a beautiful piece in Arabic.

An intent audience, deeply involved
This was followed by an insightful lecture by Sayyid Mustafa al-Modarresi, on the life history of the Prophet (saw) and its many hidden aspects. He analyzed the different stages of the life of the Prophet (saw) within Makkah and later in Madinah to highlight potential areas of similarity with current events. He continued to analyze the many misrepresentations of the Prophetic personality and the misconceptions surrounding celebration of his birthday by utilizing intellectual and Qur’anic proofs.

The programme was well received by the students and was instrumental in bringing the community together for a night of remembrance of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (as). We pray that our A’maal are accepted and become subject to the continued blessings of the Imam of our Time (atfs).
