My journey to Iran was a dream come true. I was really looking forward to facing the tombs of the great personalities and having my prayers answered through them.
My first visit to the shrine of lady Masuma left me speechless. I could only stand there with tears streaming down my face and mumble lots of salawaats. At that time I believed that with prayers one can succeed in anything.
My visit to the shrine of Imam Ridha was another unforgettable experience. I felt at peace and content. My view of life has changed drastically since. I have become more serious about life and always ready to help anyone in need.
My fellow mentors were very friendly Alhamdulillah. We really got along very well and were always there for each other. May Allah fulfil their dreams and aspirations. The mentees were Mashallah very co-operative with all of us. We were actually living like a family.
The management of The World Federation did an excellent job to make everything move so smoothly. I will always cherish the nice memories I got in Iran and I pray that I will visit again, InshAllah.
