Registration for CPD on Islamic Family Ethics extended to 25 April 2012

The World Federation is committed to providing appropriate in-depth courses and modules on Islamic topics and sciences. These are known as CPD (Continuous Personal Development) courses and are primarily aimed at Muballigheen and Madrasah Teachers.

The World Federation has over the years organised a number of CPD courses in conjuction with the regional federations on a variety of Islamic topics throughout the world, led by experts in the field.

In the latest installment, The World Federation and the Council of European Jamaats are happy to present the next exciting CPD to be held in Europe:

Topic: Islamic Family Ethics

Tutor: Shaykh Mohammed Ali Ismail

Dates: Friday 27th - Sunday 29th April

Location: Milton Keynes

Cost: £90 (subsidised) or £220 (full cost) (includes accommodation + meals)

Course Content
The course will provide in-depth analysis of the moral and spiritual principles that govern relationships between family members. Topics to be covered include:
• Beginning with the End in Mind
• The Islamic Family Mission Statement
• Laying Foundations: Understanding the Self and the Goal
• How Can Marriage Help Achieve this Goal?
• The Case for Marriage
• Family Relationships, Spiritual Relationships
• Upbringing of Children: The Roots of the Matter

Course Structure
The tailor-made course will alternate between a variety of teaching and learning methods in order to ensure maximum benefit for the participants.
Logistics

The course will be fully residential and will commence at approximately 1900 on Friday 27th April 2012 and is due to finish at approximately 1800 on Sunday 29th April 2012. Participants will be expected to arrive on time, and remain on site throughout the duration of the course. It causes disruption to other participants when individuals do not respect the decorum of the course.
