The Islamic Education department of The World Federation of KSIMC in partnership with the Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB) organised the first Continuous Personal Development Course (CPD) to ever be held in Africa. The topic was Islamic Family Ethics, held in Arusha, Tanzania, and conducted by Shaykh Mohammed Ali Ismail.
The CPD course was immensely successful. A total of 16 madressa teachers participated, who will Inshallah share their experience with students and members of Arusha Jamaat.
The AFTAB Chairman, Syed Hassan Naqvi, was able to join the group on the final day and participated during the closing ceremony of the course. He stated: “I was able to observe the excellent course conducted by Sheikh Mohamed Ali and was very pleased. I would like to assure African Jamaats that they will receive our full support in carrying out this course in different communities throughout Africa. I wish to thank the Islamic Education department of The World Federation for facilitating this in Africa.”

Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi, ASG of Islamic Education said: “I am delighted that this CPD took place in Africa for the first time. I pray that Inshallah similar courses will be conducted in various Jamaats throughout Africa. Thank you to Africa Federation and AFTAB for the cooperation and I look forward to similar partnerships in the future.”
