Every community has a dedicated team of volunteers who see to the proper burial process of the community members. The rest of the community is thus relieved of this noble duty.
The rituals associated to the process, from death to after burial, all have significance religiously and socially. Whilst the dedicated volunteers see to the process of the burial, the general community is involved in all other ceremonies: namaaz-e-mayyat, carrying the coffin, going to the cemetery, reciting Fateha, visiting relations, etc. It is therefore important for all to be aware, not only of the processes themselves, but the significance behind them.
Marhum Mulla Asgher, in this series of lectures in simple Gujarati takes us through each process, and explains the religious rulings and their significances.
Mulla takes us through the various stages: washing the body, shrouding, namaaz-e-mayyat, carrying the coffin, burial, and after burial.
This set should prove invaluable to all community members throughout the world.
These 2 CDs are available for only £4.00 plus P & P
