On 1 May 2011, the WF Islamic Education team organised a full day of support training for madaris students who will be taking the AQA GCSE this year. The training was conducted by Waheeda bai and Yasin bhai Rahim, who both have experience of teaching the GCSE in Wessex.
The students were trained on how best to revise and respond to exam questions.

Saher from Hyderi: It was very informative, tips that were given will help me in my exam. It was taught in such a lively way that everyone enjoyed.
How do you plan to use what you have learned today?
Mohammed-Hussein from Hyderi: I am going to apply it in the exams
Abbas from Hyderi: I am going to practice for the exams
Zahra from Hyderi: In the exams I know where to pick up marks that I was missing out on before
Aliasghar from Peterborough: I now know how much to write and how to organise my answer
Fatima from Leicester: I plan to use it as material to work on for revision for the exam, and the actual exam itself.
