The World Federation’s India Office is committed to the development of scholars in India.
To achieve this, the Office launched a programme of training on Information Technology for Hawza students at Jamea Ameerul Momineen (as), located at Najafi House in Mumbai, as a pilot project in September 2012.
The course covers an introduction to computer skills, MS Office, and using the Internet to assist with research.
There are currently 20 students enrolled on the programme in 2 separate classes.

The programme manager on behalf of Jamea Ameerul Momineen (as), Mawlana Zaki Noori, said: “The class is very beneficial to the students as it will help them in Tableegh. Students have welcomed the class with lots of enthusiasm.”
Rehan Hyder, a student on theprogramme, commented: “The students are really enjoying the class. We hope that this class continues so that we can benefit as much as possible.”

Another student, Sayyed Raza Abbas Naqvi, stated: “The most important part of our education that was lacking was Information Technology. Mashallah this has now been provided to us by The World Federation through the great effort of our teacher Sayyed Arif Ali.”
