Request for Nomination for the Office of the President for the term 2009 - 2012

In accordance with The World Federation Constitution clause 20.1, in my capacity as the Electoral Commissioner, I am inviting all members for written nomination for candidate or candidates for the office of the President of The World Federation for the term 2009-2012. The written nominations should be sent to me at The World Federation office in Stanmore marked for my attention.

In addition, such nominations shall be accompanied by a written communication from the person nominated signifying the consent to such nomination as required by the constitution, clause 20.1.3

Furthermore, I would like to draw your attention to the following:

According to clause 20.1.2 of the constitution, any member of The World Federation is entitled to nominate one or more candidates for the post of the President.

According to the Standard Operating Procedure clause 3.5, a candidate for Presidential elections must be a registered member of The World Federation member.

The deadline for nominations to reach me at the Secretariat office in Stanmore is Tuesday, 9 June 2009.
