The World Federation Sponsors Muharram Information Booklets - Mumbai, India
The World Federation recently sponsored 2 information booklets authored by World Islamic Network of Mumbai. The booklets are entitled 'What is Muharram' and 'What is Jihad'. A total of 50,000 booklets were sponsored and distributed throughout Mumbai.
Sheikh Abbas Ismail commented, "The World Federation is committed to supporting efforts of tableegh throughout the world through focused and targeted approaches such as these excellent and informative booklets by World Islamic Network. These simple and short texts are excellent for laypersons to clarify misconceptions and promote the true picture of such Islamic concepts."
