Dr Shiraz Muhsin Datoo of Can-Aid Africa was presented with a certificate of appreciation by a representative of the Tanzanian High Commission in Canada on the occasion of Tanzania’s 50th year of independence.
Can-Aid Africa was recognized for its humanitarian and charitable activities in Tanzania and other African Countries.
Recently, Dr. Shiraz Datoo was recognized by the Government of Canada for his commitment to serve the communities both within and outside Canada. Only a few years ago, he received similar honors from the Government of Ontario.
Can-Aid Africa is an Incorporated Canadian Not for Profit organization committed to providing access to education, improving health care and promoting self-sufficiency among the vulnerable communities in Africa with a view to ensuring a better future for them, free from poverty, sickness, abuse and exploitation.
The World Federation works in partnership with Can-Aid African to facilitate Volunteering placements for youths at schools, hospitals and orphanages in Tanzania.
