Ramadhan Relief 1431: Widows in Syria struggling to survive

Nearby Sayyida Zainab’s (SA) shrine in Damascus, Syria live orphans, widows, and refugees who are struggling for jobs, shelter, food and dignity while living below the poverty line. Before the Holy month of Ramadhan, The World Federation’s office in Damascus reported that over 49 of these families are living in desperate conditions.

The Ramadhan Relief Fund is such a welcome relief from the bleakness so many families face in Syria. With your support, we can provide our brothers and sisters there with cash gifts to help alleviate some of their struggles during the Holy month of Ramadhan.

A very poor, old widow; has no house and no work. 2 of her children have mental disorders.

A very poor widow; she is renting a house but has no work. Her eldest daughter is permanently sick and her other daughter suffers from paralysis and blood clot in the brain.

A poor family. The father is almost blind. They have no work, no house and no income.
