President's visit to Kutch

On 18th March, 2001, The President of World Federation Alhaj Hasnainbhai Walji accompanied by the Secretary General, Sibtainbhai Panjwani, Amirbhai Merali and Alhaj Aunali Salehmohammed, the Executive Councillor of The World Federation went on a visit to the afflicted areas in Kutch and Kathiawad.  They met with the Committee Members and leaders in Bhuj, Nagalpur, Kera, Mundra and Maria.

They saw the progress of the work on temporary housing being carried out and discussed the long term projects such as the economic upliftment program and permanent housing with the leaders of the Jamaats as well as the Committee Members of Kutch and Gujarat Federations.

Alhaj Hasnainbhai Walji departed from Mumbai after meeting with Shaukatbhai Mewawala heading to Nairobi, Mombasa, Reunion and Madagascar.  The Secretary General, Sibtainbhai Panjwani departed for Dubai.
