Update on Iraq Relief
Over the last 25 years, many Iraqis have had to flee Iraq in fear of their lives. Unfortunately a very large number have been stuck for years in camps in neighbouring countries. Many of these refugees now aspire to go back to their homes.
During the month of June 2004, the World Federation helped repatriate the most deserving 54 families from a camp of 480 families, which comprised of a total of 279 men, women and children to go back to Iraq. The average cost per family was only USD 200.
There are still many more families in many camps who need to be helped to go back to their homelands. If you would like to take part in this noble effort, please consider donating towards the Iraq Relief Fund.
