One of the most populated and hardest hit nation with respect to poverty is Africa. The Africa Federation reports that: “We have members of our community who have a hard time to put a full meal on their tables. We also have members of the Bilal Missions who equally find it difficult to be able to have Iftaar regularly.”

RAMADHAN RELIEF FUND 1430
As part of its Ramadhan Relief Fund distribution, The World Federation contributed £51,000 GBP to The Africa Federation to provide respite and aid to our needy brothers and sisters (non-Sadaat) during the month of Ramadhan. These funds along with other funds were further distributed in Africa to our partners:
- AFOSA
- Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya
- Bilal Muslim Mission of Madagascar
- Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania
- Dar ul Muslimeen of Dodoma
- Islamic Centre for Africa, Johannesburg
- Morogoro Orphanage
- WIPAHS
FITRA FUNDS
In addition, The World Federation sent £30,000 GBP to The Africa Federation for Fitra distribution in the region.
KAFFARA FUNDS
The World Federation also sent £30,000 GBP to The Africa Federation for Kaffara funds received to be disbursed accordingly. Among the recipients of this fund include:
- Bilal Muslim Mission of Mombasa
