RE: Election of The President for the Term 2014-2017
The Electoral Commission has received nomination letters from the following Members nominating Dr Asgharali G K Moledina for the post of The President of The World Federation of KSIMC for the term 2014-2017.
• The Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaats of Africa,
• The Organization of North American Shia Ithna-asheri Muslim Communities,
• The Council of European Jamaats,
• The Federation of Khoja Shia Isna Asheri Jamaats of Pakistan and
• Khoja Shia Ishnaashari Jamat, Mumbai
All the letters were received within the time frame as laid down in Standard Operating Procedure for Electing the President of The World Federation of KSIMC Clause 2.4, and they were all accompanied with signed letter of consent of the nominee as laid down in the Constitution clause 20.1.2.
As only one eligible candidate nomination was received within the laid down time frame, the Electoral Commission, as directed by clause 2.7 of the Standard Operating Procedure, hereby declares Dr Asgharali G K Moledina as the elected President of The World Federation of KSIMC for the term 2014-2017.
