The visit was extremely productive.  The group visited the BILAL Madagascar headquarters where a full school and mosque is under construction.  Food is also distributed to the needy as well.  The group also toured the radio station run by BILAL, where Islamic information and news is relayed in Malagasy, French and Gujarati 24 hours a day.

Dar Ul Hikmat, an excellent Hawza with a secondary school and a full program in the Arabic language was also another stop on the tour.  Madagascar has also offered to accept students from Mainland Africa for this 4 year programme.

The community in Madagascar is doing excellent work in the field of Tableegh.  Other communities can learn from the standards that the people of Madagascar are setting.  Dr. Moledina has promised to send a team back to Madagascar to learn how communities in East Africa can improve the various programmes and make them more efficient and effective as the community grows.

Dr. Moledina stated, “The propagation of True Islam is a duty of everyone and the Madagascar community is doing a superb job on this. We have a lot to learn and gain from the way Tableegh is practiced and taught in Madagascar
