Updated 17 July 2013
For this Arbaeen (December 2013) The World Federation is pleased to announce that it has established an out-post (known in Arabic as a ‘mawkib’) on the Najaf to Karbala walk route. This is through the courtesy of a community philanthropist that wishes to remain anonymous. The out-post will be located at position number 1086. This is truly an honour for The World Federation to be able to assist the pilgrims of Imam Husayn (as).
The out-post will inshallah offer the following services:
• Rest and recuperation
• Overnight sleeping facilities
• Food and drink
• Medical facilities
All community members undertaking the walk are encouraged to visit the out-post and benefit from the humble services.
Volunteers Required
Furthermore, if you wish to partake in this honour, The World Federation would like to offer all community members who are undertaking the walk, or will be in Iraq at the time, to come and volunteer their services at the out-post. This is an excellent opportunity to serve the pilgrims of Imam Husayn (as) and earn immense thawab, whilst partaking in an unforgettable experience. In particular, The World Federation appeals to individuals who are trained in medical fields to assist with services.

Al – Hajj Dr Asgar bhai Moledina, President of The World Federation, said: ‘This is a wonderful opportunity for our community members to get involved in this momentous journey from Najaf to Karbala. Serving the zuwwar of Imam Husayn (as) is an incredible honour and I thank Allah for granting us the ability to do so. I look forward for the young people of the community, and all community members, to come forward and volunteer for this excellent cause.’
