Since the multi storey building collapsed into the mosque compound in Dar es Salaam on 29 March 2013, people around the world have shared stories, details, condolences and grief.
As the tragedy unfolded the details were captured not only in words – but in pictures. Some pictures that were so emotional and so touching it left us at a loss. Here we share some of these images with you.

DAR ES SALAAM BUILDING COLLAPSE RELIEF FUND
A fund has been set up by The World Federation specifically to help the families of those who have been affected by this tragedy, including providing counselling. The monies raised will also be used to help with the on-going operations and rebuilding areas of the Jamaat complex which have been damaged as a result of the collapse of the building.
