Nominations for the Office of the President of the World Federation 2006-2009

In accordance with the World Federation Constitution clause 20.1, the Electoral Commissioner invites all members for written nominations for a candidate for the office of the WF President for year 2006-2009. The nominations should be sent to the Electoral Commissioner within 30 days at the World Federation offices in Stanmore in HARD copies.

According to clause 20.1.2, any member of the Federation and their constituent member Jamaats are entitled to nominate one or more candidates for the post of the President

According to clause 20.1.3, such nominations shall be accompanied by a written communication from the person nominated signifying the consent to such nomination.

According to the Standard Operating Procedure clause 3.5, a candidate for Presidential elections must be a registered member of a World Federation member.

The deadline for nominations to reach the Secretariat in Stanmore is 11th July 2006.
