Notice of the Nineth Executive Council Meeting Dubai, UAE.

Notice is hereby given that the Nineth Meeting of The Executive Council of the term 2006-2009 will take place in Dubai on Saturday 26 September 2009 starting at 2 pm.

The Electoral Commissioner’s communication of 16 September 2009 stated he was not able to declare the results given the procedural improprieties and the conduct of the elections in Gujarat.

Therefore, the item of the Agenda will be to agree a way forward in resolving the current Elections for the Post of the President of The World Federation which took place between 3 and 7 September 2009

As per Article 19.1.4 of the constitution, the Quorum will be:

The quorum for meetings of the Executive Council shall be five (5) members of the Executive Council provided that at least one of those present shall be either the President or the Vice President or the Honorary Treasurer or the Secretary General.

If possible, arrangements will be made for those Councillors unable to attend in person to join in via an audio conference call number. To facilitate this arrangement, Councillors unable to attend in person are requested to notify the Secretariat office by Wednesday, 23 September 2009.
