Circular Letter to all Executive Councillors of The World Federation

Assalamu Alaikum
 
As you are aware, the Conference in Dubai in September 2006, will be different to all previous conferences, in that more time will be given for discussions rather than speeches, so the community may share their experiences.
 
On Saturday evening 16 September, we have a special session 'Role of Executive Councillors'. At this session, the conference will discuss the role of the Executive Councillor (including that of Office Bearers). At this session, each present or past executive councillor will have an opportunity to present their thoughts on the role of an Executive Councillor for 5 minutes each, maximum. Ideally, each councillor should make only three points regarding your own region or regarding other region across the board. After the presentation of the councillors, the conference participants will be asking questions or making observations on the points made or may add their own thoughts.
 
The session will give an opportunity to the delegates to appreciate the role of the executive councillor as expounded by the conference.  The session will also give an opportunity to the delegates wishing to stand for any post the next day, to make their intentions known.

I am also copying this letter to all members of the World Federation, so all Councillors and Delegates are aware of the format of this special session.
