Later, I had the opportunity of working with him in Execute Council of the Africa Federation. He had the potential of rising high had he chosen to work out side our community circle. But instead he dedicated himself to serving the community. He was a man who had many friends, many of who treasure special moments they had with him. I personally cherish a 10-15 minute conversation with him during his last visit to Dar es Salaam when surely he was magnanimous in his modesty. Mulla Saheb mixed alike with the old and the young, the rich and the poor, and he remembered them all by their first names! Amongst the ''ulema'' he was highly respected. His countless contributions to the Khoja Community worldwide from India to New Zealand, Africa to America, was exemplary. Almighty Allah (SWT) knows better and we mortals only have to succumb to his will. We also will forever cherish and fondly remember his regular visits to our offices whenever he was in Mombasa. Our prayers to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant Marhum a place in Jannat amongst his chosen ones and rest his soul in eternal peace (Ameen)
