Salaamun ‘Alaykum

With reference to the initial information regarding the Strategic Plan, we intend to provide update on the progress on a regular basis. 

Please find here below an update on the first steps taken:

1) Project team

Following are the team members who will manage the project:

Murtaza Datoo (London, UK)
Safder Jaffer (Milton Keynes, UK)
Shafique Govani (London, UK)
Shelina Janmohammed (London, UK)
Yasin Rahim (Wessex, UK)

The above project team will be responsible for initiation, co-ordination and management of the project. In addition, teams on a regional/local basis will be set up who will work together with the project team above.

2) Methodology

The project team is now drafting the methodology, explaining how the Strategic Plan will be prepared. This draft will be presented at the 7th Executive Council Meeting in Madagascar.

Finally, we welcome on a continuous basis input/comments, which will help us in the preparation of the Strategic Plan. So far we have received a number of fruitful comments/ideas and are looking forward to receiving more.
