Are you a Writer?

Do you wish to write for The Community on Friday?

The Community on Friday, a weekly supplement that goes out on e-mail as the Newswire Service of the World Federation, is inviting interested male and female members of the community to take up the role of being writers and/or representatives in their respective Jamaats.

What does a Writer/Representative do?
Initially, it will be to contribute articles that have a socio-cultural and religious bias.  Original one A4 length pieces that should be capable of relating pertinent issues in our societies today, or which address principles and values that relate to us as a Khoja Shia Muslim fraternity.  The medium of language used is English.

The second important role is to ask other members in your Jamaat who might be interested to contribute articles. 

If you are interested, please write to: thecommunityonfriday@world-federation.org , giving your personal statement as to the reason you feel up to the task (2-3 paragraphs only), experience in writing and some sample writings.

This offer is open to all members, both male and female, but only over 18 years of age.
