The Aeinulla Eye Clinic in Lucknow, India, which is a project undertaken by The Medical Advisory Board of the World Federation, started its work on 17th March 2004 (25th Muharram 1425), and since then has drawn several needy patients for treatment of various eye ailments. The clinic also organises eye camps, which are advertised widely across North India.
On 19th June 2004 Eye Camp was held at Jargavan, India where patients came from over 20 localities, the majority of whom were Sadaat and Shias. There were 165 patients screened of whom 13 patients were found to have cataracts and one patient was found to have ptreigum (surgically operable abnormality). All 14 patients will be followed up for surgery in Lucknow.
