Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaik La Sharikalaka Labbaik
An Opportunity To Earn Thawab For Our Beloved Marhoomeen

The Hajj Medical Mission commences its labour of love well before our beloved Hujjaj alight at the Holy Cities of Makkah and Medina – in fact the preparation for next year’s Hajj has already begun and the Hajj Medical Mission is looking at ways and means of raising funds to sponsor doctors and buying the much-needed medications.

The Hajj Medical Mission caters towards fulfilling the following tasks at present:

  • Seminars are held to educate and prepare the Hujjaj
  • Provision of medical check ups and dispensing advice to ensure that Hujjaj are in good health prior to the journey
  • Injecting meningitis and flu vaccines
  • Distribution of health brochures and literature
  • Providing Hajj Groups with telephone contacts of doctors available during Hajj well before intended departure
  • Supplying a fully-equipped team of doctors, paramedics and volunteers that provide an invaluable and much-needed service during the Hajj Season
  • Conducting satellite clinics in various locations accessible to Hujjaj for their health needs
  • Establishing a 24 hour telephone helpline that is shared with all group leaders within the community for their ready reference at any time during their stay

Sponsorship Opportunities Not To Be Missed

Only some of us will be fortunate enough to embark upon Hajj this year and partake in the journey of a lifetime…yet for the rest of us, the priceless joy of Communion with our Lord will be achieved by serving our fellow brothers and sisters in faith and contributing towards the mission financially.

Imam Sadiq AS, enumerating the benefits of service to others in the way of Allah SWT, has stated:

Everyone who circumambulates Allah's House one time,
Allah writes down

1000 good deeds for him,
vanishes 1000 of his sins,
gives him 1000 rewards,
plants 1000 trees for him in Paradise,
gives him mercifully the recompense for delivering 1000 slaves.

When he reaches Moltazem, 8 doors of Heaven open and he is told:
Enter whichever door you wish.

Everyone who does something for his faithful brothers,
God will give him the recompense of 10 circumambulations

For the very first time The World Federation and IMI Hajj Medical Mission are providing a remarkable opportunity for us to present the priceless gift of attaining communion with their Lord to our Marhoomeen, the elderly and infirm who cannot make the journey to the Holy Lands for pilgrimage.
The World Federation and IMI Hajj Medical mission are offering sponsorship opportunities:

Brief Overview of Hajj 1430/2009
Imamia Medics International (IMI) Hajj Medical Mission attended to 15,366 patients during Hajj 2009/1430. The World Federation partnered with IMI Hajj Medical Mission to ensure that all Hujjaj from our community had access to health care during this historic expedition. The World Federation provided telephone contacts of doctors available during Hajj well before groups from the community started to depart. Satellite clinics were established all around Makkah and Medina. Groups were able to put forward requests for a doctor from the Hajj Medical Mission team to come to their lodgings to conduct a clinic. A 24 hour helpline telephone number was also provided to all group leaders from our community.

Alhamdulillah, 249 clinics were held at various locations during Hajj 2009/1430. The Hajj Medical Mission’s doctors were present in Saudi Arabia for a whopping 42 days – we salute them for their dedication and praise them unreservedly for their selflessness and service in Allah’s Way.
