Imamia Medics International (IMI) will be hosting its 5th International Conference in collaboration with Kufa University in Najaf, Iraq. The theme of the conference is Advancement through Learning and Integration (ALI), which combines IMI’s commitments to enhancing health, education, capacity building, economic empowerment and the integration of community and faith-based approaches to health.
IMI’s 5th International Conference: Advancement through Learning and Integration will be hosted in Najaf, Iraq, as this city not only holds a deep spiritual place for Muslims, but also, has been designated the Capital of Islamic Culture 2012 by the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in October 2009 in Azerbaijan.
The conference will be comprised of clinical sessions emphasizing advancements in various fields of health including:

• Nutrition

• Pain Management
• Pharmacy

Sessions are also being scheduled to incorporate community and faith-based approaches; for eg. Good Governance in the Light of Nahjul Balagha.
