Zainabiya Health Centre Continues – Lucknow, India

The World Federation’s Zainabiya Health Centre in Lucknow remains steadfast in providing health care to individuals and families who otherwise could not afford to.



Since September 2004, a total of 236 patients (124 Sadat and 112 Non-Sadat) have received medical care and treatment from the Centre including:

  • Subsidising Doctor’s fees
  • Pathology tests
  • Radiology tests
  • Medication
  • Hospital charges
  • Operation fees

The majority of the aid provided to the people is in the form of medication. By making these medications readily available, more and more individuals can begin to recover from their ailments faster and feel better sooner and longer.

AEINULLAH EYE CLINIC:
The World Federation’s Aeinullah Eye Clinic operates through the Zainabiya Health Centre. Providing eye clinics, eye care and treatment to the citizens of Lucknow, this programme is an essential service in the region:

  • April to October 2008 – 2055 patients treated
  • April to October 2008 – 20 Opticals issued
  • April to October 2008 – 8 Operations performed
