The World Federation of KSIMC in partnership with the Islamic Cultural Affairs (ICA) committee of the Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ) and Ahlulbayt TV (ABTV) are pleased to announce the broadcast of Mulla Asghar’s lectures on ABTV. 

The series will run from Monday 30 August 2010 to 3 September 2010.

Mulla Asghar – a personality never to be forgotten
21 March 2010 marked the 10 year anniversary of the passing away of Marhoom Mulla Asgharali M M Jaffer.  Even though a decade has passed, the memory of Mulla Saheb is still alive in people’s minds, through his words and literature which will remain etched in history.  His tireless efforts and contributions to Islam and the community will resonate in the hearts of individuals for years to come. 

Mulla Saheb was a brilliant communicator, eloquent speaker and an inspirational teacher.  Fluent in Arabic, Farsi, English, Kiswahili, Urdu, Kutchee and Gujarati, his words have reached Shias across the globe through his lectures, books and articles.  He eloquently presented the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (AS) to the masses at large.

He contributed thousands of hours of tireless community service and has impacted the lives of so many.  He has left an unforgettable mark on the entire Shia Community.

The World Federation launches the Mulla Asghar lectures series
As a tribute to Mulla Saheb, the Islamic Education department of The World Federation of KSIMC has begun providing various lectures and making them available on CD and DVD. Mulla’s works have been restored and digitalised and have been made available to every household- fulfilling his dream of spreading the message of Islam.

In Mulla Asghar’s series of Ramadhan lectures, Mulla discusses the various aspects of Ramadhan including the rules of fasting, the importance of dua during this month, and also covers ethical discussions on various topics.
