BMMK – Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Seminar for the Imams of the Centres

For the third consecutive year, the Mission in collaboration with The World Federation of KSIMC and Federation of KSI Jamaats of Africa had organized a ten day workshop for muballigheen and muballighat in an effort to create a platform of learning and sharing of knowledge and experiences.

The workshop attracted 70 participants from various organizations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda that was led by the Alhaj Sheikh Ayub Rashid, a Scholar from the United Kingdom.  The workshop commenced on 10th to 20th December, 2012 at Bilal Hall.

This year topics included, marriage and divorce, Islam and Leadership, Islam and Politics; Sciences of the Holy Qur’an, Hadith and Sunnah, Biography of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s), Attributes of a good speakers amongst many other topics that were covered in 10 days.

Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi, ASG of Islamic Education of The World Federation said, “I'm delighted to see the progress of this initiative.  It’s the third year running and I am confident that value to the local community is added. I wish to thank Alhaj Sheikh Ayub Rashid for conducting these seminars. BMMK is a dynamic partner in delivering tabligh in Africa. We hope to continue with this effort in future.
