Looking Ahead to The World Federation Islamic Education Madrasah Retreat

The Islamic Education team at The World Federation is now busy in preparation for the landmark Madrasah Retreat in February. Together with the team in Dubai, preparations are being made to receive delegates and conduct the first ever such global Retreat on Madrasah.
 
The Retreat theme is: Shaping the Institution to Deliver Islamic Knowledge, Spirituality, and Morality to our Future Generations.

The Retreat Aim is: To achieve consensus and agree the direction of travel to enhance the institution of madrasah across the world.

The Retreat Objectives are:
  • To co-create a vision for the institution of Madrasah.
  • To co-create an action plan for the realisation of our vision.
  • To share ideas, experiences and learn from participants from across the world.
  • To network with practitioners, experts and enthusiasts in the field.
Delegates are expected from across the world in different capacities, but with one unified objective - enhancing and improving the effectiveness of Madrasah.
 
Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi, Assistant Secretary General for WF Islamic Education said, "My team and I are excitedly anticipating the Madrasah Retreat. There are a good number of attendees who will add to the discussions on how we can take Madrasah forward. This is such a vital and important part of the community and Allah has granted us the Tawfeeq to be able to address this at the Retreat."
