During the course of this year’s Annual summer camp, the Madinah and Baab al-Ilm students were exhilarated to have an audience with Grand Ayatullah Waheed Khurasani – one of the leading Maraje’a of the Shi’a world in the Holy city of Qum.
The meeting began with witnessing of an official Amameh Guzari ceremony (awarding of turbans to scholars) taking place to honour Hawza Ilmiyyah students from various backgrounds. Thereafter, the great Aalim addressed the crowd which included the camp students.

A few highlights of his message regarding the status of our Present Imam (atfs):
- Imam Mahdi (as) is the summary of all the Prophets and Imams; we don't understand his rank and level as we ought to.
- Imam Mahdi (as) is the manifestation of all the names and attributes of Allah (swt)
In his prominent advice to students, he mentioned the regular recitation of the Holy Quran and its completion every month after which one must gift it to our Imam. But above all to achieve Ultimate Success, he advised that one has to fulfill their Wajibaats and stay away from Haraam.
Ayatullah Khurasani came across to the students as a very humble individual. On his website, under his bio, he writes "I have nothing in my life but sins and mistakes", demonstrating his humility in his unwillingness to share stuff about himself with others.
May Allah (swt) protect Ayatullah Khurasani and all the Maraje’a under the shadow of our Awaited One (atfs) and may His (as) reappearance be hastened...Insha Allah!
