Haji Hussein Ravji Manager |
"3 months ago, I was honored to be given the opportunity by the World Federation to be manager of the office in Syria. I have wholeheartedly committed myself to help the IIPS system develop. Having been actively involved with the IIPS recently through liaising with the entire team, meetings with Marajiya offices and Howzas, working closely with the Educational Director, and going through the educational syllabi, I feel confident of its success as we start the first and new educational year on 8 September 2007. This date will mark a historical point for our community that will benefit in both, this life and the hereafter. In four years, the students that have been nurtured by the IIPS, will inshAllah hold a Masters Degree in Islamic Education, ready to lead our community and satisfy its needs. I pray to Allah (SWT), through the proximity of the Ahlul Bait (AS) that He grants success to this project. I also request all community leaders, elders, members and youth, to stand firm with this project that will secure guidance, spirituality, social work and unity to our communities worldwide for many generations to come".

Sheikh Sami Bo Khamseen Educational Director |
"Dreaming of a vision with an aim was once just a speck and has today come to reality. My involvement in this project for the past two years has shown me what people can gain when unified and dedicated for one purpose, which is the betterment of a community. My eagerness to begin and lead the educational side of the IIPS is coming closer, with only 1 day before we commence.
On 6 September 2007 I arranged a teacher training session, where the team met and prepared for Saturday 8 September, a day that I look forward to, when I shall proudly greet my students for the first time.
I hope and pray that the whole community can hold hands together and experience the success that will be obtained and passed on to many generations to come".

Sheikh Kasim Asady Arabic Module Coordinator |
"Since 1 January 2007, I have been working hard to develop an integrated and interactive Arabic Course for students of the IIPS, and looking forward to applying it successfully InshAllah.
COURSE MATERIALS
The major part of the course covers the general Arabic textbook for non-Arabic Muslim speakers (4 volumes) designed at three levels (basic, intermediate & advanced). This was successfully applied and evaluated thrice, over three years in real classroom situations. Significant modifications, additions and revisions have been made recently for the MTP. In addition, other specially designed textbooks have been made available for the course, such as Arabic listening & reading comprehension, Arabic composition and Hadith for Arabic, in addition to the text-bases for Mukaddama, Dictation, Tajwid, Fiqh, etc.
All materials used in this course shall be periodically reviewed to ensure that they are appropriate for IIPS.
Other types of teaching resource materials have also been made available, aimed at developing a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles, techniques and approaches to present subject matter. These illustrative materials include language board charts, vocabulary board posters, recorded tapes, computer programs, flash animation & presentations, leisure time language games, simplified stories and grammar books.
I think that the delivery of the IIPS will InshAllah be exceptional and unparalleled in many aspects, such as course contents and devoted teachers and students".

"With 15 years teaching experience in this subject in addition to being a member of a panel of judges for Tajweed Law, I feel confident of obtaining results from my students. I am looking forward to meeting them, and hope that they have the same serious approach that I do. To begin, I shall assess their current ability in Quranic skills, in order to plan effectively as I take them through their journey, increasing their abilities within this subject to a higher level".
IIPS status
The IIPS has rented accommodation to suit all requirements for the academic year of 2007/08. We tried our utmost best to provide comfort to students who will arrive for a journey of a lifetime into an new environment. Fully furnished and spacious flats have been rented for student couples that are to join the IIPS. Teachers and staff requirements have also been catered for. We are sure that in order to make ends meet, this temporary accommodation will be appropriate.
InshAllah students will relocate next year into the 38,000 square meter complex, where work is due to commence in the very near future.
Scholarship Facilities
As part of the scholarship, students will have a monthly stipend that will assist them to acquire all necessities throughout the month. In addition, a daily meal is to be provided to give students more time to concentrate on their educational needs and to relax.
During the first few weeks upon their arrival, institute outings shall be arranged for all students to familiarize themselves with the environment and culture.
