Muharram 1431: Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga commemorates Ashura

Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga branch, in collaboration with Lujnatush Shuhada and Ahlul Bait Charitable Foundation organised a procession on the 10th day of Muharram to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Husain (as).

The procession began from Bilal centre at Hauzatul Qaim(as) and concluded at Ahlul Bait Charitable centre. Lectures were held at intervals throughout the procession with distribution of pamphlets.

Tanga region has been vibrant in propagation of the love of Ahlul Bait (as) and has a centre of learning higher Islamic studies with 23 students and is governing 6 centres throughout the region, Duga maforoni, Pangani, Mkumbara and Lushoto are a few to mention.
