The World Federation Bosnia desk has been was very busy throughout 2009, conducting several Tableegh activities throughout the year. Below is a summary of some the various activities:
Radio Programmes
Following a successful initial year of Tableegh programmes that were broadcast by The World Federation has continued of these excellent programmes. The content is presented in the Bosnian language in the format of questions and answers.
The Radio programmes in this period were based on the following books:
- The Rights of Women in Islam by Murtaza Mutahhari
- Ma'ad (The return)by Murtaza Mutahhari
- Muslim Teens: Today's Worry, Tomorrow's Hope by Ekram Beshir
Four other radio stations in towns of Mostar, Vogosca, Olovo and Lukavac are now broadcasting these programmes.
CDs with copies of the programmes are copied and distributed to those brothers and sisters who cannot listen to the broadcasts.
Programmes at the centre
Several programmes were held throughout the year at the centre. Attendance varied and there were between 10 and 60 guests at each programme. They came from the neighbouring towns and cities like Visoko, Breza, Ilijaš and Sarajevo.
Prayers were held after or before the main functions in the centre. In addition various discussions about different issues were held after the main programmes.
On 13 Rajab, Prof Esad Bajić from Konjic, Shaikh Akber Eydi and Ertan Basarik, Prof Sayed Muammad Javad Vaziri Land Nermin Hodzic, Efendi Derviš Imamović, Chorus "Ak Saraj" visited our centre to commemorate the birthday of Imam Ali (as).
Regular programmes were also held in Mahe Ramadhan. Food was prepared at the centre and Iftaar was held for everyone.

Our Muslim brothers and sisters in Bosnia commenced their Muharram programme on 17 December 2009. This year, the Jamaat watched Br. Hasnain Rajabali’s lectures which he had delivered to Al-Amaan Jamaat of Sydney in 2006. On Ashura days mourners gathered at Sarajevo Husainiyya, where main lecture was delivered by Shaykh Akbar Eydi.

The youth
The centre is always open to the youth. Several have made their friends from attending the programmes. Some enjoy coming to the centre to study or complete homework while others enjoy the computer room.
A table has also been set up for girls to work on sewing and tailoring.
