الیوم اکملت لکم دینکم و اتممت علیکم نعمتی و رضیت لکم الاسلام دینا
“Today I have completed your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you and chosen Islam as your faith.” (Holy Qur’an 5:3)
On the auspicious occasion of Eid e Ghadeer, the WF Qum Office held a gathering for local students of the Hawza. The lectue was given by Shaykh Ali Arastu of USA.
Shaykh Arastu explained the contrasting emotions of this day of the lovers of the Ahlul Bayt, and their opponents. He further expanded upon the differentiation of Ikamal (perfection) and Itmam (completion) in the above verse of the Quran.

In the second part of his discussion he outlined the significance of Islamic etiquettes in all the aspects of the life of an Islamic society.
The event ended with various Qasidahs and poetry in Urdu, followed by iftaar nyaz.
One of the participants commented, “This programme was very successful; I enjoyed the great feeling of celebration and the opportunity to meet and greet one another.”
