Shaykh Murtadha Alidina has delivered an enlightening series of lectures as a brief commentary to Surah al-Qayamah. After presenting a systematic overview of the Surah and its key themes, Shaykh Alidina addresses the question on the role of Qayamah (Day of Judgement) and why it must exist. He discusses the various types of doubts that people experience and what leads them to deny it. The enlightening discussions are continuously related back to the 'dunya', materialism and the lowly desires of the soul.
 
The lectures then go onto discussing the key features of the Day of Judgement, the different groups, and how rational proofs necessitate that there must be a final Day of Judgement. Issues of jurisprudence, anthropomorphism, tawheed, revelation and the key issue of accountability are addressed.
 
The audience is also treated to a host of practical ways of strengthening our belief in Qayamah and becoming prepared for it.
