Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary – Almis Students excel once more

The Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary students have been making their school proud for numerous years now by scooping various awards in both the national and international examinations. With Distinctions awarded for the Cambridge IGCSE and GCE A Level done in June 2013, the latest feather on the cap came from the NECTA Form 5 regional examinations held earlier this year.

Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary proved itself once again in this year’s Regional Examinations by bagging top position awards in various subjects. To acknowledge the winners, the parents and the teachers responsible were invited for a short award ceremony held at the Tambaza Secondary School on 25th September 2013. They were accompanied by the Head of the National Curriculum from the Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary; Mr. AbdulWahid Zakaria, the Biology Teacher Mrs. Saada Mohammed and the Geography Teacher, Mr. Mohammed Hassan. The students and their teachers were also acknowledged and congratulated in the School assembly by the Principal and the Deputy. Amongst the roar of the applause, the students were informed that this being their first level of achievement, the real challenges lay ahead in the form of the Form 6 National Examinations.
