BMMK Best Pre-primary school- Amani Centre Dembwa

As a part of tableegh activity the Mission has established 14 Pre-Primary schools in different rural centres for free Pre Primary Education.  This education is imparted in accordance to the National Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) curriculum. 
On June 11th, 2011, the teachers of Amani Pre Primary School, Dembwa were honored the first position for being the Best Managed Pre-Primary school in the Chawia Zone, Mwatate District in imparting the ECDE education.  They were presented with a trophy and Certificate of Academic Commendation by Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Taita Taveta District.  The teachers Sister Rehema Machila and Sister Amina Diyo are ECDE qualified teachers by the Mwatate District Education Officers from the ECDE department.

A Survey conducted by the ECDE Department showed, maximum students qualifying the entrance exams for class 1 in Primary Schools were former students from Amani Pre-Primary School.  The teachers’ effort in providing quality education and producing learners ready for transition was highly recognied by the officers.
