Mumbai ranks among the most populous cities in the world, with a population of approximately 14 million inhabitants.
During the Holy month of Ramadhan, The World Federation partnered with the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat of Mumbai who helped to dispense monetary assistance to 151 widows and to distribute food rations to 439 families.

Vice President of the KSI Jamaat of Mumbai expressed: “Our Jamaat would once again like to express our gratitude and thank The World Federation for the assistance provided towards Ramadhan Relief 1430 to the Hajatmands and other needy Momins of our Jamaat.”
Shan-E-Abbas Hassam, an Executive Councillor and former ASG of Relief said: 'We are thankful for Mumbai Jamaat for their excellent work yet again this Ramadhan. We pray to Allah (SWT) to increase the Tawfeeqat of all the volunteers so that the Jamaat can help more of our deserving brothers and sisters in Mumbai.'
