Three bombs exploded in the southern Iraq city of Najaf on Thursday 14 January 2010.
The blasts occurred in a crowded market less than a kilometer from the landmark Shrine of Imam Ali (a.s).
No firm death toll has been confirmed as of late Thursday however it is believed at least 14 people people have died in the blasts. Dozens were injured and have been taken to hospital to be treated.
Violence in Najaf has become rare and the last major attack was in 2007.
We pray to The Almighty to grant the Mo’mineen of Iraq in particular and all over the world in general the strength to tolerate these trying times.
