KSIM Seniors of Stanmore donate to ZCSS

The annual KSIM Seniors of Stanmore Zainabiya Day function to celebrate the life of Sayyida Zainab (A.S.) was held on 21 April 2010 at Stanmore. Seniors and distinguished speakers from all the Jamaats in the UK were invited as customary and topical issues were discussed.

Each year since 2005, the Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme (ZCSS) team has also been invited to give a progress report of the scheme. This year, Brother Murtaza Jaffer, a volunteer of ZCSS, attended the function and presented the vision of ZCSS to the audience. The senior citizens responded generously to the worthy cause and donated £625.25 towards the Scheme. This will be used to sponsor one Higher Education student and one Primary Education student when the new academic year begins respectively.

ZCSS will be providing regular updates of these students’ progress to the Seniors.

ZCSS would like to thank the Seniors of Stanmore for their generosity and continued support and we pray to Allah (S.W.T.) for their continuous support and guidance.
