Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme - Success Story

For more than 25 years, the Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme (ZCSS) has been providing education to children in developing countries – giving them the skills and tools to become self-sufficient and successful in their adult lives.  To date, over 13,000 students have been sponsored, and 1177 students have completed a higher education course in India, Iran, Sri Lanka, or Thailand across a wide range of courses such as engineering, science, and Information Technology.   These graduates have moved on to become professionals today, supporting not only themselves, but their families as well.

From a dream to a reality

Komelabbas Nayani from Bhavangar City in Gujarat India was sponsored under ZCSS.  He writes,”I completed my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad.  As my family was struggling economically, I secured funds for my education by taking a loan from the Council of Gujarat, Talaja.  Alhamdullilah, I was employed by Larsen & Toubro Engineering and Construction – the first company I applied to.  Inshallah, my goal is to start repaying my debt as soon as possible.

Without the aid and support of ZCSS and The World Federation, my education may have not become a reality.  For this support, I would like to thank you.  May Allah include all of us among the true followers of Imame Zamana (atfs).  Ameen.”

ZCSS has provided the light of education to thousands of children over the years.  Inshallah, it is the goal of the ZCSS team to continue to provide quality education to students for many years to come.
