The institution of Madrasah is the foundation stone of our community. It is this institution that helps to nurture and build the Islamic Education and Moral Ethics of our children and develops them into adults that are religiously and morally conscious.
 
In February 2011, The World Federation's Islamic Education team has organised a Madrasah Retreat to bring together experts, scholars and Madrasah enthusiasts. The discussions will address vital issues surrounding Madrasah and will help chart a way forward in making our Madrasahs even more effective. View a detailed agenda of the proceedings.
 
Dr Asgar Moledina, President of The World Federation, commented, "This is a momentous gathering of experts involved with Madrasah. It is the first time such an event of this proportion is being organised. I can foresee that great things will emerge from this and will give the Madrasah agenda the focus and direction that it requires, inshallah. I ask the community to join me in prayers to Allah (swt) to make this a fruitful and successful retreat, ameen."
 
The World Federation has issued invitations to Community Madrasahs and Schools throughout the world.
