The importance of the English language in the world today is undeniable and the community members are becoming increasingly proficient in English as their strongest language.
In order to assist the Ulama of Mumbai to keep up with this trend and to ensure their Tableegh delivery is relevant and understood, The World Federation’s India Office has launched a pilot project to provide the Ulama with a certified course in English.
The course is carefully customized in keeping the non-English academic background of the participants in mind, and is planned to be completed within nine months with one class per week.
The students come from a rich background including: graduates of Hawza, prayer leaders, Madrasah principals, and Zakirs of Imam Husayn (as). Currently there are seven students.
