For so many families living in India, it is extremely difficult to provide a decent standard of living. This predicament makes everyday living very difficult or even impossible.

This year in Mumbai, India, the Ramadhan Relief fund assisted:
• Widows who have no steady income and no male member in their family, and
• Families who earn less than $100 USD per month

425 food baskets and 166 cash gifts were gifted to a total of 591 families living in Mumbai, Thane, Dongri, Mumbra, Mira Road, Vasai, Jogeshwari, Kurla and Palghar.

Each food basket included:
• 5 kg wheat
• 10 kg rice
• 5 litre cooking oil
• 2 kg sugar
• 500 grams tea
• 3 types of lentils 1 kg each
• 1 bottle rose syrup
• 500 grams jam

City by city, region by region, your support ensured that families were not left without food at the time of Iftaar. This year, thanks to your magnificent support, we were able to distribute just over $600,000 USD in aid to deserving families across 17 countries where relief reached almost 180,000 deserving people.
