APPEAL UPDATE
The 40 ISLAMIC CENTRES IN 40 DAYS APPEAL is part of an overall campaign to help rebuild the lives of the flood victims in Pakistan by addressing their religious and spiritual needs. Thanks to donors from Africa, Australia, Europe, North America and Oman, the appeal has raised enough funds to construct about 70 Mosques, Imambarghas and Madrasahs to date.
CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
The World Federation of KSIMC is working in partnership with Hussaini Foundation who is managing the construction of these religious centers. In January 2011, the construction of 3 Mosques and 1 Imambargha started in the province of Sindh in the Districts of Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore Kandhkot.
VISIT TO PAKISTAN
Led by the Assistant Secretary General for Islamic Education, Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi, The World Federation is preparing a site visit to Pakistan between 1st and 8th April 2011 to meet with the Hussaini Foundation to see first hand some of the villages where these Islamic Centres are and will be constructed.
