Pakistan is indeed a sizeable country with many Mo’mineen spread across the region. This past Ramadhan, a number of Ramadhan Relief programmes were held in the vicinity of the Imambargah of Kanodar Shia Ithna Asheri Momin Jamat. These activities, supported by The World Federation Ramadhan Relief programme, included:
- Daily Madrasah - diniyat and roundtable classes for children from class KG to 12 were held where about 150 students participated
- Daily Quran Khawani for gents – 26 participants
- Daily Dars-e-Maaref-Islami Lectures - for ladies and gents
- Islamic based written test for ladies and gents above 18 years - 18 participants
- Aamal-e-Shab-e-Qadar for ladies and gents – 3 Nights, 300 Mo’mineen participated each night
- Sehri programme during Aamal-e-Shab-e-Qadar.
- Khatm-e-Quran & Prize Distribution Program - 500 participants including ladies, gents and children
- Iftari programmes on 21st Ramadhan
The World Federation’s Vice President, Al Haj Gulamabbas Dinani stated: ‘We are proud to continue partnering with Kanodar Shia Ithna Asheri Momin Jamaat in their Ramadhan efforts. Our funds were utilized in providing Iftaar and Tableeghi initiatives, a combination which is the hallmark of the Ramadhan Relief programme.’
