Appointment of ASG for ZCSS for the term 2011-2014

The President of The World Federation of KSIMC, Dr Asgharali Moledina has appointed Masum Somji as the new Assistant Secretary General of ZCSS for the term 2011-2014.

Masum Somji is an experienced volunteer of The World Federation having served several terms as Executive Councillor. His recent innovative contributions have been the introduction of Asset Realization of our Community and Capital Projects Paper which has had far reaching support from the Membership putting checks and balances on all new projects by the Members.  In addition, he has served several terms and continues to serve as Secretary General of JIBA International and has been instrumental in rejuvenating it especially in India.  He is ardent supporter of economic upliftment especially through education.

Masum Somji at the behest of the President, Dr Asgharali Moledina has agreed to lead ZCSS and will undertake a complete review of ZCSS and implementing to ensure the ethos of ZCSS are firmly rooted and made even stronger.

The World Federation would like to take this opportunity to thank Masum Gulamhussein who headed the ZCSS for the term 2009-2011.  He and his team of volunteers have had challenging times and we hope that they will continue to support Masum Somji as he takes the Lead on ZCSS.

Dr Moledina said: “I am delighted that Masum Somji has joined the ZCSS team as the Assistant Secretary General. Masum has a history of working on many projects and delivering them successfully. We will look to Masum to lead us into many changes on the scheme and to increase reporting to donors as well as further instil the concept of higher education. We thank him once again and look forward to working with him closely.”
